Jos Jansen [ Bio ]
Born in the city of Nijmegen, The Netherlands, famous for its Roman influences and World War II battles, Jos Jansen came to the US to obtain an International MBA at the University of South Carolina’s Moore School of Business. He speaks 7 languages, traveled the world, became a US citizen in early 2000, lived in six European countries and five Eastern US states, and moved a total of 16 times during his career in international marketing for US and European corporations, most recently in the health care field.

He came to Greensboro initially in 1983 to work with Blue Bell and later VF Corp. Being fascinated with Guilford County, its splendor, its people and the facilities available, Jos choose to make Greensboro his home. In October 2008, he lost his mother after a seven year struggle with Alzheimer where he was deeply involved. Quoting Jos, “Dealing with a parent’s disease and the stress it puts on a family, showed me the value that a service like Home to Home offers a community”.
